Placement score
Your placement score from the year you enrolled is equal to or higher than the target programme's base score in that same year.
- At least one completed semester
- Possible in every year, prep class included
- Also open to students past the normal study period
- Universities in Türkiye and the TRNC (TRNC: fall only)

Grade average
Your cumulative average for the semesters you have completed is at least 2.29 out of 4 (60 out of 100).
- Only between equivalent programmes at the same level
- Applications at the start of set semesters
- Evening-programme students in the top 10% can move to the daytime programme
- Quota and calendar announced on the YÖK website
